Aqua Aerobics

Aqua Aerobics

Aqua Aerobics is the form of physical movement and exercise in water. An exercise without using body weight and thus lighter on the joints, it is a form of resistance training by moving the body to the beat of music. This class is suitable for both women and men, those who have bone and joint concerns, and seniors! As aqua aerobics does not exert as much pressure or force on the joints and bones as exercise on land might, it lessens the chance of bone and joint injury. There is only resistance from the water which will aid in improving: muscle strength, body shape, and proportions. We may use a variety of equipments to add to the fun! Each class should take around 50-60 minutes. Benefits of exercising in water include improving and maintaining flexibility of the muscles, especially those on the back, abdominals, arms, and legs. Aqua aerobics also can help improve your respiratory system, making you feel refreshed and relaxed. On top of that, Aqua aerobics lessens the risk from overheating and will leave you feeling refreshed and energized after the lesson - a special treat for those living in hot and humid Bangkok!
